I’m very happy to announce that the first meeting of the Ravina/Home Park Association (no official name yet), will be held on Saturday, April 25th beginning at 1:00pm. We’ll be meeting at the Garman Park pavilion. Anyone who lives in the Ravina Park or Home Park neighborhoods in Decatur is welcome to attend. If you are unsure of your neighborhood boundaries, please take a look at the map I’ve posted on the group’s page.
This will be an informal, informational meeting. I’ll post more detailed info as it becomes available. Please feel free to contact me, if you have any questions. It should be a lot of fun for the neighborhood, so get the word out if you live in the area!

good for you!!
Thanks Sue!! Yep, I’m excited. I might need some of your expertise and advice in the next couple of weeks. I’ve never been to a neighborhood meeting. I’ll be going to the CONO meeting tomorrow. Doug is planning to go too. Hope to see you there and finally meet in person.
Hey saw Doug there tonight – we missed you!! It was a great meeting – Sure like that new city manager – whatever our current council didn’t do right they sure picked a good manager. Down to earth, straight talker. I really like him.
Oh I forgot to say – smart
I REALLY wanted to go this time but my son and I came down with a nasty virus that is going around his school. That’ll teach me from volunteering again! Hand, foot and mouth disease. I never heard of such a thing. Actually I’m not sure if I have it yet. I haven’t developed any sores or blisters but my son has. And I don’t even want to mention where the rashes can develop. I’m hoping I just have the good ol’ fashioned flu.
From what I’ve seen of the city manager, I’ve been impressed.
